Who we are

In the early 80’s bold, new scientific, thinking revolutionised retail and urban designs in the UK. From department stores to insurance offices, real estate agencies to airports, a new discipline began to be applied. It even transformed the entire London Docklands.

The application and knowledge gained by Andy Thomson and Greta Lilley 25 years ago, was brought to Australia in 1988 and honed continuously by the team over the past 20 years.

Andy Thomson

Keeper of the flame, controller of quality, and mentor to the young and hungry, founding partner and husband to Greta, Andy brings together the bright light of creativity, the wisdom of experience, the generosity of a committed teacher and a pragmatism born of sheer retail realities.

Greta Lilley

A retailer through and through, Greta is a strategist, analyst, realist, non-conformist (and always willing to call it as she sees it ) Greta translates client needs and consumer wants into broad visions and concrete briefs for the Thomson Lilley team.

Trained in London, Greta worked at the forefront of the 80's retail design revolution. Indeed the London Docklands project still rates as one of her favourites. These days, Greta's CV is a “who's who” of retail. From the first UK Food Courts, to national redesigns for clients like AMP, RACV, Chemmart and Wendy's, her experience is unequalled in Australia.

Our in-house skilled team, with extensive international and national experience, will collaborate with you to ensure a highly successful resolution.
